A homeopathic combination pack with two single remedies Aloe Socotrina and Silicea for the relief of dysentry.

Aloes Socotrina: Aloes Socotrine is a chief remedy for dysentry. There is inflammatory condition in lower colon and rectum. Bloody discharge with much jelly like mucus and less blood. There is profound weakness and prostration from dysentry. Sometimes the patient passes nothing but only a large quantity of jelly like mucus. Before stool there is rumbling sounds in the abdomen due to accumulation of gas. Dysentry worse after eating and drinking.

Silicea: Silicea also helps treating dysentry with loss of appetite or ravenous hunger with great thirst. There disgust for meat and warm food. But as soon as drinks water it causes vomiting. There is painful cold feeling in the abdomen with much rumbling. Sensation of weakness in rectum. Stool passes with great straining. It is partly expelled and then recedes back, hence has to be removed mechanically. Stool with cadaverous odor.

Directions:  Adults: Take 4-5 pellets or tablets orally by mouth and allow them to dissolve in few minutes time. Repeat at least 3 times a day, about 30 minutes before or after food. Similarly take the second remedy after a gap of 30 minutes, make sure to remember the sequence. Children: Half of the adult dose.
