A homeopathic combination pack with two single remedies, Ipecacuanha and Natrum Sulphuricum for the relief of cough.

Ipecacuanha: Ipecacuanha is a chief remedy for the relief of cough. Cough is dry, spasmodic, constricted and asthamatic. Incessant and violent cough with every breath. Loose, coarse rattle in chest without expectoration. Ipecac is also useful in pneumonia when chest is loaded with mucus and there is blueness of skin and pale face. Suffocative cough causes nausea and vomiting with clean tongue. Ipecac also helps in whooping cough. Child loses breath, turns pale and blue in face.

Natrum Sulphuricum: Natrum Sulphuricum is also a suitable remedy for cough with humid asthma. The patient must hold chest when coughing. Rattling of cough in chest at 4 to 5 am. There is thich ropy, greenish expectoration. The patient springs up in bed because of cough.

Directions: Adults: Take 4-5 pellets or tablets orally by mouth and allow them to dissolve on tongue. Repeat at least 3 times a day, about 30 minutes before or after food. Similarly take the second remedy after a gap of 30 minutes, make sure to remember the sequence. Children: Half of the adult dose.
